A Job Exceedingly Well Done!
“It is with great gratitude that the Government
bestows this commendation upon a contract partner who
exemplified the partnering spirit. Glowlink’s
honesty and engineering expertise has embolden the road
to recovery for the IMPCS program.”
-- Colonel Lee S. Price, Certificate of Commendation.
On April 28, 2004, at a milestone meeting for the Integrated
Monitoring and Power Control Subsystem (IMPCS) program
held by the US Army Enterprise Information Systems,
Glowlink Communications Technology, Inc. was presented
with a Certificate of Commendation as well as a “Colonel’s
Coin” – a rare honor, from Colonel Lee S.
Price, PEO, EIS, US Army.
Recognized for Glowlink’s forthrightness in addressing
issues and steadfastness in adhering to requirements,
Glowlink’s President & CEO, Jeffrey Chu, and
Chief Technology Officer, Michael Downey, were in Colorado
Springs, CO to receive this honorable award and recognition
on behalf of the company. Glowlink's role in the IMPCS
program is to provide full-up spectrum monitoring systems
(hardware and software), in addition to providing software
for performing integrated uplink power control.
Glowlink is only one of two, out of the dozen or so
award recipients, to be accorded the Colonel’s
Coin. We share this honor together with a staff member
of a SETA (System Engineering and Technical Assistance)
contractor, the recipient of the other Colonel’s
Coin.
“This is a great honor for Glowlink as a company,
and we all get to share in it, (and yes, get to uphold
our corporate principles and values as well),”
said Jeffrey Chu at a company meeting.
