Glowlink Inc. CEO to be Panel Speaker
at NAB 2005 - "Fighting Satellite Interference
in SNG and Remote Uplinking"
LOS ALTOS, CALIFORNIA, April 13, 2005
– Jeffrey Chu, CEO and President of Glowlink will
be part of a panel of speakers at NAB 2005 (National
Association of Broadcasters) to be held at the Las Vegas
Convention Center April 18 – 21.
Panelists for the session - "Fighting Satellite
Interference in SNG and Remote Uplinking," moderated
by Maury Mechanick from White & Case; will discuss
the sources of interference, methods for interference
mitigation and interference reduction.
Besides Jeffrey Chu, other panel members include Robert
Ames, SUIRG; Adam Edwards, New Skies Satellites; Michael
Noon, SES Americom; Ken Kalinyak, Hughes Network Systems;
and Dick Tauber, CNN News Group.
The panel session will be held from 1.30pm –
2.30pm on Wednesday April 20th at the Satellite Business
and Technology Pavilion, Central Hall (Room SU10460).
A demo showing how hidden interference can be detected,
extracted, and displayed to a satellite operator, using
Glowlink’s state-of-the-art DSP satellite monitoring
technology will also be presented should time allow.
