Interference Detection and Geolocation System

The Model 8000 is a state-of-the-art Geolocation System. First introduced in 2006, the Model 8000 revolutionized the approach in fighting the growing problem of satellite interferences by breaking down the price barrier and dramatically improving system affordability. Along the way, the Model 8000 achieved a few other industry firsts, including:

The industry first Geolocation system with built-in interference detection and monitoring capabilities, all housed in a single, space-saving 2U or 4U chassis.
Successfully located Emitters-On-The-Move (EOTM) when all other similar products failed.
Successfully geolocated highly volatile, rogue interferers made worse by undesirable satellite orbital orientation, again when all other similar products failed.

With GEO4, the Model 8000 once again leads the way--this time in breaking down the complexity barrier by offering a dramatic level of automation and unmatched ease-of-use in detecting and geolocating interferers across L, C, X, Ku & Ka bands.

GEO4 also incorporates the latest interference detection and monitoring advances offered by the Glowlink Model 1000 3G spectrum monitoring product, further enhancing the Model 8000’s potent effectiveness in fighting interferences.

Preserved in GEO4 is the Model 8000’s flexible network-centric architecture, allowing the system to be added to a satellite monitoring network via simple plug-and-play. This allows the customer to easily scale their network with no risk and no interruption. Also preserved in GEO4 is Glowlink’s authentic expertise and intimate knowledge that were instrumental in creating the Model 8000 product in the first place—thus ensuring product continuity, close-in/reach-back support, and future product advances and innovations. All these are attributes of the Model 8000 GEO4 that are difficult if not impossible to match by other similar products on the market.
